Event info and classes

Our Electric Balance Bike events cater for riders from 3 years of age to 8 years of age. The aim of all our events is to create a fun and encouraging atmosphere for the little riders and to create fantastic memories for the riders and their families.

We understand that some of our events are race meetings but our focus is on and will always be on the fun element of taking part with all riders receiving medals and being positively encouraged and supported. If you are a win at all cost parent these events are not for you!

Revvi Cup

These events cater for Revvi Electric Balance Bikes only

12” Revvi Open – 3 years of age
12” Revvi Open – 4-5 years of age
16” Revvi Standard 3-4 years of age
16” Revvi Open – 3-4 years of age
16” Revvi Standard – 5-6 years of age
16” Revvi Open –  5-6 years of age
16” Revvi Standard – 7-8 years of age
16” Revvi Open 7-8 years of age

2023 British Electric Balance Bike Championship

The British Championship is open to riders on any make of Electric Balance Bike.

Up to 12” Open 3 years of Age
Up to 12” Open 4-5 years of age

Up to 16” Open 3 years of age
Up to 16” Open 4 years of age
Up to 16” Open 5 years of age
Up to 16” Open 6 years of age
Up to 16” Open 7-8 years of age

Revvi Cup Classes Defined

12″ Open class – any upgrades or modifications using Revvi products – up to 170w

16″ Standard classes – This class is for 16″ Standard bikes which are as purchased from the shop with no enhancements or modifications. Bikes will be checked at the event and the top three bikes from each class will be tested.

16″ Open classes – This class is for 16″ Revvi + bikes or 16″ Standard bikes which have been upgraded from the stock bike purchased from a shop. Upgraded parts, motors, and control units must come from Revvi – up to 250w

Open Classes – These classes are open to both Standard and upgraded bikes as per the above.

Electric Mini – Bikes for this class are for Electric bikes with wheels no bigger than 10 inch rear and 12 inch fronts.

What riders need to wear

Long trousers, race pants or jeans – Long sleeved tops – Closed shoes, preferably ankle boots but trainers as a minimum – Full face helmets preferably but Cycle helmets, properly fastened are acceptable – Riders also need to wear gloves.

Long hair needs to be tied up and inside the riders helmet

Safety

All bikes need to have sprocket guards in place.
